NFT is live on Coinbase has been the gist in the last few hours. Very well so as one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the US announced that it has launched its own NFT marketplace.

NFT has been trending for the whole year and took center stage the previous year. Non Fungible Tokens has shown Art lovers and Collectors how to hold unique Digital works of their favorite artists.

The beta version of the would be industry defining NFT marketplace to be launched in phases by Coinbase can be found at nft.coinbase.com

Nebo Finance gathered that the beta test platform will allow access first to it’s waitlist participants from the top with a first come first served basis.

What is Different?

Coinbase said the NFT platform is like nothing seen before, as it boasts of no fee for users for a limited time. Saying that NFT is more than just transactions.

The NFT market place would feature users connecting via comments while buying and selling their favorite NFTs.

What else has been said?

Coinbase NFT market place will first support only Ehereum based NFT collections with other Blockchain based NFT coming at a later phase.

Beta users will have to create a Coinbase NFT profile to be able to buy and sell NFTs using any self-custody wallet, be it Coinbase Wallet or something else. Promising to add fees, which will be in-line with Web3 industry standards, however, there would be a notice to users when they are ready to do so.
